Ram Setu

Ramayan Lives is an Epic tale of the victory of good over evil. But this battle would never have been fought if Lord Rama and his Vanara Sena not cross the sea and reached Lanka through Ram Setu.

Today’s Sri Lanka is an island, and it was difficult to reach it without a land connection. According to legend, the Vanaras’ army constructed a bridge for all.

Thousands of years later space images taken by NASA reveal a mysterious ancient bridge in the park strait between India and Srilanka. Ramayan says that Yantra or Mechanical devices were used by the Vanaras to transport and piles tree then huge boulders and finally smaller stones to create a causeway.

It took 5days and 10 million Vanaras under the supervision of architects Neil and Null to build this bridge. The dimensions of the bridge when it was constructed were 100 Yojanas in Length and 10 Yojanas in breadth. Making it a ratio of 10:1.

The Ram Setu from Dhanushkodi in India to the Talaimannar in Sri Lanka as measured in present times is approximately 35kms in Length and 3.5 km in Breadth an exact ratio of 10:1.
